On 17 November 2020, the INNOQUA team and a group of invited experts explored multiple perspectives on using earthworms, microalgae, bacterial biofilms, Daphnia and UV light in wastewater treatment – highlighting the potential for nature-based approaches to wastewater treatment around the world as well as exploring R&D and commercial opportunities in this sector.

Recognising that India is a centre for world-class research into vermifiltration, the INNOQUA team on 15 October 2020 brought together experts online to share their experiences of working with earthworms for wastewater treatment and to plan the way forward for these solutions.
